New Editor
As you are all aware Mary Major has now moved on and we wish her and Mark well at the East Kent. I'm Craig McClelland your new editor. I'll be out this season so anything you want to go in the newsletter, get in touch.
200 Club
The 200 Club is running again this season. There are 8 draws throughout the season with prizes £50, £20 and £10. Tickets cost £10 and are available from Sandy Alders.
Kennels Open Day
The kennels Open Day was a great success and made a profit which is excellent news. The novelty dog show and terrier racing went down very well. A big thank you to all that helped to make this a success. The committee would like to thank Stuart and Jonathan for their hard work and a special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Pocknell senior for their continued support providing the hanging baskets at the kennels.
The Southdown Supporters AGM
The Southdown Supports AGM took place on 26th June. The Chairman was extremely disappointed at the very poor attendance, barely 20 people turned up. The supporters club is a vital link to your hunt, please do not neglect it.
New Horses
The supporters are pleased to announce that they have paid for 2 new horses for the hunt staff for the coming season, so welcome to Paddy and Brum.
